We either adapt to the Word or adopt it into every action of our existence. When we adapt to the Word, we make some changes based on what we want to follow. If we adopt the Word, we submit completely. We do not just follow Jesus on Sunday. In every minute of every day, we must control the thoughts that exit through our mouths. Do you praise God, but curse others? “This should not be” (James 3:10). Controlled speech truly demonstrates a working faith.
Pray to adopt the Word and submit completely.
