You do not have in mind the concerns of God.
We must never interfere with the lesson of affliction being taught. We should never expect or accept sympathy. Sympathy only serves to weaken and hinders growth. We should never say, “My life is too difficult.” God will place you on purpose. Will your joy rise in the blessings and the burdens? If God’s testing is causing affliction, rejoice and trust God’s providence. If Satan’s tempting is causing affliction, resist and trust God’s position. If your treason is causing affliction, repent and trust God’s power. When we endure affliction, we become more effective Christians.
Pray to have the mind of Christ in all affliction.
