Guaranteed Salvation

God desired to show more convincingly…the unchangeable character of His purpose.
Hebrews 6:17

The saving purpose of God is unequivocally unshakable. From God’s perspective, followers of Christ are completely secure; salvation is guaranteed. Our security in Christ is stable, but our assurance in Christ is seasonal. There are days when Christians may not feel like they are saved or that God is not present. Our assurance in Christ has ups and downs because we are constantly fighting Satan and our skin. Security of salvation is from God’s point of view and assurance of salvation is from our point of view. We can only enjoy assurance when we are focused on a faithful follow. If you want to to see Gods unchangeable character, you must walk by the light.

Pray to stay in the light because Jesus is the light.
