“I was sick and you looked after me.”
As Christians, we should be able to identify areas of need and then serve with compassion. Often, we think others should be helping us, but that is a skin based decision. We have the natural tendency to be selfish, when we need to be selfless. “Count others more significant than yourselves” (Phil. 2:3). We will never count others more significant than ourselves if we are living by our skin. Every act of sympathetic kindness has meaning and shows Jesus to others.
