Keep your eyes on those who walk.
The church must be united in its concentration on Christ and Christians who are following faithfully. We cannot give attention to those enlisted in earthly endeavors. “Do not be yoked with together with unbelievers” (2 Cor. 6:14). A deficiency of obedience leads to an abundance of anxiety. How can you concentrate on Christ if looking at the waves (c.f. Matt. 14:22-33)? Those who are anxious display agitation and anguish. In anguish, we do not concentrate because we are too hurt. In agitation, we do not concentrate because we are too hurried. Instead of feelings of worry or wanting, act in righteousness and worship. A heart of worship creates eyes that watch.
Pray to concentrate on Christ.
